Class Info

Our classes vary! We never have the same exact class twice!

General

We use STEPPING, dumbbells, bands, physio balls, aerobic dance, step, circuit training, cones, calisthenics, boxing, scooters, and various pilates-type matwork! We have a lot of fun! All classes are one hour. The first 5-10 minutes are for warm-up. We have you walk to warm up and get to know each other. We then have group stretch time. Then we "rev" it up for a good cardio time with a mix of all sorts of the others. We are definitely sweating by time for cool down which is the last five minutes of class! Expect to burn 400-700 Calories per class, depending on your current size! (Remember that you need to burn 1500 to 2000 Calories per week in exercise/activities to be “fit” so we encourage coming at least 3 times per week for maintenance and 4 to 5 times per week for positive change.)


Music

Music is kept wholesome. We have a variety of Christian rock, pop, ballads, oldies, and classical. For various themes, we have even played Hawaiian, country & big band. We DO NOT have acid rock, rap, or music with offensive words or themes.

We Alternate Days

  • FATBUSTERS
    Monday and Thursday evenings, as well as Thursday and Friday mornings
    Cardio with all body sculpting
     
  • UPPER-BODY SCULPTING
      Monday and Wednesday mornings
    Cardio as we sculpt the biceps, triceps, deltoids, chest, traps, lats, abdominals and obliques. We even work to strengthen the neck!
     
  • LOWER-BODY SCULPTING
      Tuesday and Thursday mornings
    Cardio as we sculpt the quadriceps, hamstrings, gastrocnemius, perineous, adductors, abductors, abdominals and obliques
     
  • SIT AND GET FIT!
    Monday and Wednesdays starting IN February!
    For the older beginning individual, using chairs, bands, balls, weights and light ball work If you can Walk in, YOU can do this class.
  • PILATES--Tuesday evenings and now Monday mornings with Cheryl-strengthen and stretch!--bring a mat
  • YOGA  Evenings--with Anne-(Christian) --bring a mat
  • Water Aerobics--Great for beginners.  Using wet noodles, jugs, and water resistance to get a low impact
    all over workout.  Poetry location and Terrell location in private pools through September.
